Good day, man of God,
You are important to God. He loves you. He proved it to you by sending his only begotten Son to die for your sins to show you. Remember the Word, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)”
Did you just skim over that last paragraph?
Did you feel a little bit of a yawn coming on? If you did, take a breath. Pause. Read it again. This is the truth that has shaken the foundations of the world from beginning to end. If we are numb to this, then we are in danger of missing God’s whole point and purpose for our existence and the existence of everything.
God, have mercy on us. Refresh us. Do not let this truth grow cold in our hearts.
