Hey Gentlemen,
You need to hear the voice of the Lord. In Matthew 4, we read that, after forty days and forty nights of fasting, Jesus was hungry. At his weakest human point, Satan came to tempt him, saying, “If you are the Son of God, command these stones to become loaves of bread.” And then Jesus answered him, “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.”
Jesus lived by it. We live by it also, whether we acknowledge it or not. God is still speaking through the Bible, other faithful believers, renewed thoughts, divine wisdom, Holy Spirit gut feelings, and in many other ways. The problem is that we are not actively listening. The words of God are the way to live to our fullest potential.
Are we men who will be found listening?
This week's TOP 3
READ: Proverbs 10
THINK: “Jewish children learn that the Torah is “sweeter than honey” (Psalm 119:103) on their first day of Hebrew school. In the twelfth century, Jewish children would lick Hebrew letters of the Torah written in honey (our ancestors’ equivalent to candy) upon a slab of slate to begin their study. The “sweetness” of a life of learning was reinforced by ingesting the sweetness of God’s words.”

Pray that God will help you to acquire a taste for the sweetness of his Word.
ACT: Take 5 minutes at the beginning or end of your day this week to be silent and listen for God’s voice. Light a candle in a quiet room or walk outside in the stillness of the day. He will speak. Will you listen?
Hey, please reach out to me and let me know if you're feeling stuck or going through a challenging season right now. I want to pray and connect with you.
Stay humble. Stay Sharp.
