Stay Sharp Weekly
The Stay Sharp Weekly newsletter equips Christian men to get sharp and stay sharp in every area of their lives.
Hey man of God,
Happy Father's Day to all of you men who have poured your lives into leading your families well. You may get a gift or a handmade card this weekend from your kids or grandkids, but I have a thought.
What if we flipped the script on Father's Day?
What if you give them handwritten cards with the gift of your words, your confidence, your joy?
Even more, what if, every year, Father's Day becomes a day when we double down on our surrender to this sacred calling of fathering?
What if we use it as an opportunity to renew our commitment to God and our families?
Pray the Lord’s prayer with this perspective.
Our Father in Heaven,
hallowed be your name,
Your kingdom come,
your will be done
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our debts,
as we also forgive our debtors
and lead us not into temptation
but deliver us from evil.
For yours is the Kingdom, and the power and the glory forever, amen.
Instead of waiting for the blessings to come to us, let’s take Father’s Day to them!
THIS WEEK’S TOP 3
- READ: Matthew 25
- THINK: Who has fathered you and pointed your life toward Christlikeness?

- ACT: Take 2 minutes and write a note of encouragement to each of your children and your wife. That’s 12 minutes total for me! (If you don’t know it yet, timers are the secret sauce to bust procrastination and doubt.) If you don’t have children of your own, take that time to write a note or card to a child with whom you have influence.
Being more intentional, doesn't cost you much. It's simple, but will you do it? I challenge you to try it. If you do, hit me back and let me know how you felt, how it was received.
BOOKING FOR FALL 2026: RETREATS, LEADERSHIP SUMMITS, AND CHURCHES
One of my favorite things in the world is to speak at conferences, retreats and churches.
If you lead a church, run a men's ministry, host a retreat, or know someone looking for a speaker this fall. I'd love to be in the conversation.
I'm speaking on three topics right now:
Filter the Noise - a practical framework for quieting the mental chaos and living with the authority and peace of Christ.
The Right Kind of Dangerous Man - calling men back to the strength, clarity, and God-given intentionality they were wired for.
Fathering in the Age of AI - equipping dads to thrive, not just survive, in the new technological frontier.
If any of these feel like a fit for your people, shoot me an email. Let's connect.
